Monday: Frances turned 2 months! She is growing so fast. She also threw up that morning, so we let her sleep with us that night... which turned into her sleeping with us all week.
Tuesday: Frances had her well baby check up. She is 11lb 15.5oz and 22 1/4 inches tall. These measurements put her in the 75th percentile for weight and only 50th percentile for weight, and her head measures in between the two. We've got a chubby baby :)
Wednesday: Frances got her 2 month shots... which came with a fever and worsened a tummy bug that she apparently had. She has had a stuffy nose and some congestion for the past few weeks, and threw up Friday night and Monday morning, but we thought it was because she was choking on drainage. These vomitings were so intense that it was coming out of her nose! Nope, we think she has a bug. She threw up a couple times that night and spit up almost everything she ate. Scott gave Frances a blessing and she was able to sleep through most of the night.
Thursday: At 6:30am Frances woke up and threw up, her fever was over 100 degrees and she was not doing well. She continued to throw up and spit up throughout the day, but apparently not enough to dehydrate herself. She had a fever all day too. She is such a good girl though because she always let me take her temperature, even if it was rectally (which also helped her poo). Scott's dad came last night and checked her out and said it was probably a bug.
Friday: Over the night (which I didn't get any sleep from because I was trying to keep her hydrated) her fever went away and she hasn't thrown up today yet either. I have been feeding her less food more often, which seems to help. She has, over the last week or so, developed a goopy eye though, but as long as it isn't a fever or intense vomiting, I think we can handle it.
This is what I woke up to on Tuesday morning. She has continued to coo and smile through her yucky week.
I put her on her tummy to nap, hoping it would help her feel better the day after her shots. She woke up within a few minutes upset.

Oh that is so tough on mom and baby! I am glad to hear she is doing better! She is getting so big so fast! Excited to meet her and see you in march!
Francy Pants is my favoritest niece in the world!! She gave me my first experience of watching someone poop, and the fact that it was on my dad's hand (while holding the rectal thermometer), just makes it all the more special. Viva la speciallo momentos y Francy Pants!
