Just a Bug

Francie's lab results came back negative for a UTI so we took her into the hospital Sunday night to get her blood drawn. She was a trooper and the staff was wonderful! She was rewarded with ice cream for a job well done, which made the whole thing worth it. With the results from the CBC and Scott's dad calling the on-call pediatrician in an Anchorage hospital Sunday night, it was decided that it was just a bad bug going around. Her fever and diarrhea stopped the next day and we thought all was over. Until she awoke on Tuesday with a rash... just a side affect from the high fever. Anyway, aside from being a little more tired than normal, Frances is back in business. Just in time to head down to Vancouver for a 2 & 1/2 week vacation with family! Hooray!!!
